Welcome yet again to our website and to the 2008 cricketing season. We are looking forward to this season with relish as we believe we have the makings of a very successful club based on an excellent 2007. New this year will be a second side competing in the Dorchester and District Evening League Division 3 and we hope this will blood those coming up from the junior sides into adult cricket. On the management side we are beginning the process of looking into the possibility of producing a grass wicket at Ashton and also a borehole for our own water supply. Please visit the ground and enjoy the cricket.

We are always on the lookout for new players; we cater for a whole range of abilities and ages by operating a Saturday League side (promoted 2007), a Sunday/Midweek friendly team, two evening league sides (Cup semi finalists and Division2 Champions 2007) and a youth section ranging from soft ball (9 years) through to under 15s (County Cup semi finalists and West Dorset league winners 2007).
Adult/Under 15 training will be held most Friday nights from late April (U15 5pm, adult 6pm). Under 11 and Under 13 training will be held most Wednesdays from 6pm. (Subject to weather and no game being played at Ashton!)
We are always interested in new players, scorers, umpires and supporters; please contact the website administrator (therealmcc@hotmail.co.uk). To join follow the link at the bottom of this page, or click on the blue ‘Register!’ button on the right hand side of this page.
We also produce our own club newsletter, 'The Martinstown Cricketer', with all the latest club information, history of the club, player profiles and much more. To view 'The Martinstown Cricketer', please click on the 'news' tab near the top of this page and search for Articles from this site only.
